Celebrities have their personal chefs and trainers to help them post-pregnancy weight.  One celebrity mom said in and interview that she eats healthy and watch what she eats and stay away from carbs.  She doesn’t sit around a lot. For normal persons, doctors would advise to hold down until the sixth week after post pregnancy check up.  If you had a normal delivery, you can slowly start working out as soon as you think you can manage. This is not an  option for women who had a C-section. They have to wait for six to eight weeks to begin an exercise routine. First, you should do the exercises gradually.  Do easy exercises like aerobics, biking or swimming.  Avoid sit ups that can strain your abdominal muscles.  Go easy on your abs for at least eight weeks.  

Have goals that are attainable.  Just because Heidi Klum is back on the runway after 6 weeks it doesn’t mean that you have to lose weight rapidly as well.  It doesn’t mean you need to lose one or two pounds in a week.  To lose pregnancy weight, you will need to give it 10 months to 1 year.  When you lose weight rapidly, you will produce bad toxins that may harm your baby when you are breast-feeding.

Good news is, breast-feeding helps in weight loss.  The reason behind is that, during your pregnancy, your body keeps to feed the baby when he or she is born.  Through breastfeeding, the baby takes away the fats and help you lose weight.  Do not just cut calories to lose pregnancy weight. One good alternative is to take in veges, fruits, whole grains and foods rich in calcium.  

This is one healthy way on how to lose pregnancy weight. Even if it would take time, it pays to be patient. Even though it may take up to 10 months but with the will power, you’ll know that you’ll still achieve it. Losing weight gradually is the healthiest way for you and your baby.
